Option 1 (Recommended for Gauteng Visitors):

From Gauteng travel to Bela-Bela on the N1, then 90km towards Koedoeskop/Thabazimbi (on the Mabula/Mbelingwe road), at Koedoeskop T-junction turn right towards Thabazimbi, after 40km turn left at another T-junction towards Northam/Rustenburg, after 6km turn right on Makoppa dirt road, after 3km turn left onto Grootfontein Wildlife Estate, follow game fence for 3km to Lodges.

 

Option 2 (Shortest, but quite busy route, esp on a Friday afternoon!):

From Gauteng to Brits, go straight through Brits, 130 km to T-junction near Thabazimbi, turn left towards Northam/Rustenburg, after 6 km turn right on Makoppa dirt road, after 3km turn left onto Grootfontein Wildlife Estate, follow game fence for 3km to Lodges.

 

Option 3 (Lots of frustrating traffic):  

From Gauteng to Rustenburg (Sun City area) - Travel 110km from Rustenburg via Northam towards Thabazimbi, turn left 16km before Thabazimbi on the Makoppa dirt road, after 3km, turn left onto Grootfontein Wildlife Estate, follow game fence for 3km to Lodges.
